Membership Checklist

For all members:

  1. Fill out your membership form & pay in full

  2. Get your USRowing number & email it to membership@peakrowing.org

  3. Complete your safety orientation in one of two ways. 1) Attend on-site at Standley Lake Nature Center Wed., May 1 at 7 am or at Standley Lake boat ramp Sat., May 4 at 2:30 pm. RSVP now. 2) Attend virtually Wed., April 24 at 9 pm or Sun., April 28 at 3 pm. RSVP now.

  4. Complete your swimming waiver & email to membership@peakrowing.org

  5. Get a personal floatation device with whistle. See all safety regs.

  6. Check out club boats, organize group rows and log your private boat use at Boathouse Connect. Here’s how to begin using Boathouse Connect.

For members without private boats:

6. Get your Annual Paddle Craft Permit ($125) online or at the Standley Lake entrance gate

7. Pay for your boat rack storage & optional sling/storage in full

8. Get your boat insurance (homeowners policy, Leonards or some other insurance company) & email it to membership@peakrowing.org

9. Contact membership for your rack assignment and combo to the storage cage (if you’ve purchased space for your oars/slings).

10. When you bring your boat to Standley Lake the first time, be prepared to remove it from the cartop rack, remove cover, remove wings/riggers and oars for spray down before entering the park proper. Please bring your own straps for securing your boat to your assigned rack space.
