Safety
Club boat use is dependent on a safety orientation and bow certification.
Members accept all liability and risk for storing private boats, oars and slings that may cause damage or be subject to theft.
You must provide proof of insurance, US Rowing membership and your private PFD before joining.
Standley Lake is a large reservoir and weather can be unpredictable. We encourage you to row with others and to carry a cell phone.
PFDs are required.
Members must certify that they 1) have passed a swim test OR can swim 200 yards without stopping AND can tread water for 10 minutes.
No beginners allowed.
Racks and storage cage are for sculling use only. No kayaks, SUPs, canoes or other crafts or unrelated items allowed.
PEAK Rowing reserves the right to cancel membership and rack storage without refund at any time due to member noncompliance.
We also reserve the right to assign boats to specific spaces annually based on boat type, rower height, rower disability and other factors.
Members agree to follow all rules set by Standley Lake Regional Park, especially the hours of operation and spray station requirements.
Members recognize that rack space is seasonal. Limited winter storage is available.
The club highly encourages members to review the USRowing safety video annually.
